How Are The Meals Transported And Delivered?Updated 7 months ago

Transportation and Packaging Process

We take great care to ensure your meals are delivered safely and at the right temperature. Here’s an overview of our transportation and packaging process:

Transportation Process

  • Preparation and Storage: After preparation, meals are stored in refrigeration to maintain freshness.

  • Transportation to Depot: Meals are transported in a fully refrigerated van to our depot.

  • Final Delivery: From the depot, meals are delivered to your door in a monitored refrigerated van, ensuring they remain at the proper temperature approved by the Department of Health.

Packaging

  • Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP): Our meals are packaged in a modified atmosphere, altering the composition of the air around the product to enhance freshness and shelf life, typically reducing oxygen levels and increasing carbon dioxide.

  • Ice Packs and Insulation: Deliveries also include ice packs and insulated silver liners to maintain the ideal temperature during transit.

By following these rigorous processes, we ensure your meals arrive in perfect condition, ready to enjoy!
